Seeing their child graduating is the most nostalgic moment for parents. The child is in high school or in a kindergarten; the moment is as special for both. But when the child is in kindergarten graduation wearing Kindergarten graduation caps and gown, then it is the most precious moment for the childs parent as it is the first milestone their child has achieved in the life. Take on this moment to express your feelings towards your child. Show with open heart as how happy you are for his success. Celebrate the occasion with friends and relative and tell the world that you are proud parents. This will make your child feel special. The best way to celebrate the occasion is by sweets, Candies and cake.
Your childs education is a very important matter, and like all parents you want what is best for them. One of the first decisions you make about their education is kindergarten, being that this is their first step in school, you want it to be the best experience possible for them. And like a lot of parents, you may be wondering whether to send your children to either private or public kindergarten. Where your child starts their education is a important decision, one that takes extensive research, here some things to consider when looking into the benefits and drawbacks of both private, and public kindergartens.
Kindergarten ABC worksheets should have different activities to help children identify the various letters of the alphabet. The activities may involve very simple things like colouring, ticking, drawing a line to match items etc. Using attractive illustrations and cartoon characters would make it more fun for children. The activities should be graded, i.e initial activities should be very simple and easy (but should be fun with good pictures etc, so as to interest the child); later worksheets may involve a little bit more work. Care should be taken to give children worksheets that they are capable of doing. This involves understanding and monitoring the child continually, since the level of attainment of different children would often be quite different. The worksheet should challenge the child but not overwhelm her. If the worksheet is too easy or too repetitive, it may bore the child and she would not be happy. If the activity is too difficult it would frustrate her and she would not like to take up more sheets.
Thus arguments are frequently heard regarding the necessity of "starting earlier" and "working harder" so that our students can simply remain competitive in the global landscape. But is asking a five year old to spend thirty hours a week at school too much to ask of them? We examine both sides of the issue. On the positive side, the primary overarching intention of all-day kindergarten is to better prepare students to succeed. The definition of success is clearly in the eye of the beholder: an enhancement of learning capabilities, an increased score on some future standardized exam, or the ability to more effectively socialize with peers. Whatever the definition, there is certainly a body of academic research which supports the claim that todays five year olds are mentally able to endure the additional classroom time and derive a lasting benefit from it. And there are parents who have put their kids through all-day kindergarten who will heartily vouch for the benefits it provided.
Connect The Letter To The Correct Sound/Word: These are activities where you draw a line between a letter and the picture items that start with that letter. For instance, youd draw a line from the letter A to the word "Apple" and the letter L to the word "Lemon". This activity is good, but takes a lot of monitoring to make sure that students are correctly connecting the letters. Its best as a homework activity, where parents can help to make sure their children are correctly connecting the letters to the words. Letter Books: These are books that frequently use the same phonemes over and over so students can understand them (the link between a letter and the sound it makes). For instance, "Baby bear bounced balls".
Kindergarten worksheets are often of much value in helping kindergarten children learn and re-inforce basic concepts in an interesting way. Small children usually like to do things rather than just read or listen. They also get bored rather easily. Therefore giving them well-designed, illustrated worksheets to do makes it easier and more fun for them to learn. Completing a worksheet also gives a child a great sense of fulfillment. In fact, not just for kindergarten, but even for older learners worksheets can form a valuable part of the learning process. There are many good workbooks available for kindergarten children. However with a regular workbook, a child can do each activity or worksheet only once. A good option is to use printable kindergarten worksheets. These are basically digital versions (like ebooks) of worksheets that can be bought and downloaded to your computer from the internet or from CDs and then printed out. The advantage is that you can print out whichever sheet you wish. If you need to re-inforce a certain concept more you can usually print out that sheet again. Of course you will therefore need to have a computer and a printer. Do choose worksheets that are appropriate for the childs level, since children can get discouraged easily, if they are unable to perform the activity. Well illustrated worksheets with cartoons are also more likely to appeal to children. Worksheets that use common situations children come across at home, school, in the market place etc and that use common objects known to children would be more relevant.
