Although preschool workbooks are popular, many parents like the convenience that is associated with printable preschool worksheets. The only problem with printable preschool worksheets is that they can use up a lot ink, especially if the selected preschool worksheets are in colored ink. To save yourself money and printer ink, you may want to search for preschool worksheets that are in black and white. If you are unable to find black and white preschool worksheets that you like, you can still go for the colored ones; however, you may want to consider adjusting your printer settings. Instead of having them print off in colored ink, you may want to adjust your settings to gray scale. This will save you a considerable amount of money and printer ink, especially in the long run. Doing this can also create an additional activity for your child, as you can have them color all the pictures themselves.
With the new school year starting soon, many parents will be concerned about school readiness and looking for ways to help their children prepare for big school. While there are many preschool worksheets available, some are more useful than others in terms of versatility. There is a lot more to school readiness that just knowing the alphabet and counting to ten. Academically, parents can use preschool worksheets to help teach their children some of the basic skills they will need for kindergarten and school. This will include counting to ten, recognizing shapes and colors, being able to hold a pencil or crayon properly, and coloring in without scribbling. Basic math concepts such as recognizing patterns, understanding quantity and some simple addition and subtraction will be useful. By the time your child is ready for kindergarten or school, they should be able to recognize their own name and other simple written words. The sounds of each letter of the alphabet should be familiar to your child, and they should understand the principle of reading from left to right, which way to hold a book, and possibly even be starting to read three and four-letter words.
Puzzles are a great way to enforce sorting as well as matching. There are a number of puzzles on the market today that promote basic math skills. I would suggest wooden puzzles with pegs for the youngest puzzlers. There is no need to create difficulties with putting the puzzle together when that is not the goal. Stick with puzzles that only have one or two math concepts such as colors and shapes. Having to match too many concepts will be confusing and too hard. If you can find puzzles with only one math concept that would be ideal, such as non-colored shapes, or colored pieces all of the same shape, or groupings of things but all of the same objects, etc.
Early training is easier and faster To illustrate, if you shape clay while it is still soft, it will be easier and flexible, similarly the childs young brain is easy to mold. We can start training them while they are still inside the mothers womb. And when the child is born his brain is ready to learn. Child fast development takes place during the first year after his birth. He starts to recognize movements, sounds, shapes, colors, and even counts. So if you develop your child earlier the result will be better. kindergarten will be too late Shape your child the way you want If you want your child to be a good speaker, you must always read and speak to him. If you want him to be a musician or a simply a music lover, sing to him or let him listen to music. Hugs and touches together with words of "I love you" can make him a loving person. The more new things he will be exposed to, the more he will learn. Developing other skills require variety of different stimuli. Though your child may not necessarily be a genius but pre-schooling him means preparing his mind and equipping him with the tools he needed when he goes to school.
Types of Preschools from Which to Choose When I sent my daughter to nursery school, I wanted the most nurturing environment I could find. I chose a wonderful, progressive program in downtown Manhattan. A few years later, when we were interviewing uptown for a selective girls school, the admissions director told me that when my daughter would be interviewed there, they would test her. She would be expected to draw circles, squares, triangles and rectangles. My eyes opened wide in shock and I said, "But my daughter doesnt know how to draw those!" She looked at my daughters file and said (rather snootily), "Oh yes, your daughter went to one of those downtown play schools."

Benefit-5 - Educationists create sets of worksheets as per the academic curriculum of the learners. The learning objectives are set as per the kids level of understanding. Therefore, worksheets for Class 1 will vary from nursery worksheets.
